Plan A Visit
What to expect
Are you planning to visit with us?
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Laidley a great one!
Sabbath School
At 9:30am we gather for Sabbath school. The first half of sabbath school consists of singing and a mission story with what is happening around the world.
At 10am we start our lesson where the Bible is read and discussed in a less formal setting than a typical church service.
Main Service
The main service runs from 11am to 12 noon. We have a rotating roster of guest speakers who will share a message with the congregation on God’s Word.
A typical service looks like the following: welcome, song service, prayer, offering (optional for visitors), sermon, song and finish with a prayer.

Frequently asked Questions
Do I need a Bible?
No. You don’t need to bring anything, just yourself. If you would like a bible, you can borrow one or you can download a free Bible app on your mobile phone.
Will I be asked to give money?
Every Saturday (Sabbath) our regular attenders have the opportunity to support towards a number of causes. This is totally optional and if you’re visiting with us please don’t feel obliged to give.
Will I be asked to speak publicly?
During our Sabbath School lesson we like to encourage member involvement, but if you’re visiting with us you will not be pointed out.
What do most people wear?
We invite people to wear what they’re comfortable in. If you’re looking for a more specific answer, most people dress formal like they’re going to a nice restaurant.
